Greetings Fishermen,

Welcome to South Bass Island! I know you come from near and far for this awesome experience and we want it to be the best it can be for you. As you know, parking is an issue. Finding a parking spot for your boat trailer and vehicle can be a challenge. As the island businesses open up for the season, we will be welcoming even more island visitors.

To avoid a $50 parking ticket, please be mindful of the parking laws and signs (yellow curbs, no parking areas, no more horizontal parking on the angled parking spaces…etc.

We offer a few alternatives to parking your rig when no spots can be found….

Launch your boat and crew and take your vehicle and trailer back to your lodging destination. Then call a cab and meet up with your crew for a fun day of fishing. Repeat this process when you return after a successful fishing day.

Or rent a golf cart for your time here and use that to get back to the dock after you have returned your vehicle and trailer to your lodging location. It’s much easier to find a parking spot for a golf cart rather than a vehicle and trailer. There are several golf cart companies, which you can find online.
