Residents of South Bass Island may purchase up to 2 electronic Resident Parking Permits per household for $25.00 each. Each permit will be associated with one license plate of your car, truck, golf cart, or utv. Vehicles registered with a Resident Parking Permit will be exempt from paying hourly fees. Permit holders are not guaranteed a parking spot. Resident Parking Permits will be valid from May 1, 2026, through October 15, 2026.
To be eligible for the Resident Parking Permit, you must provide proof of residency in one of the following forms:
A copy of your Ohio Driver’s License showing your residential address on South Bass Island;
A copy of a utility bill in your name showing residential address on South Bass Island;
A copy of a deed in your name for the residential property on South Bass Island; or
A copy of your lease for residential property on South Bass showing a lease term of at least 90 days.
To submit the application in person, please bring the application, proof of residency, and payment to the Village Town Hall. Please be sure to fill out all the information in its entirety prior to submitting it to the Village Clerk.
Once your application is approved, you will receive an email confirmation. You will not receive a physical permit.

You may also deny/appeal this ticket within TEN (10) calendar days after its issuance. You may do this by completing a Parking Ticket Appeal Form. You may either email this form to parking@villageofpib.com or return it to 435 Catawba Ave., Put-in-Bay, Ohio 43456.
